As we head into spring proper it should come as no surprise that we’re taking more and more inspiration from nature and the outside world when it comes to our interiors, writes Amy Norbury.

Greens are considered to be calming, peaceful hues so after such a tumultuous year it seems only right that they’re coming to the fore. 

Moving away from the deep dark forest hues of autumn and super-sweet pastel shades, the greens of choice for spring are a sophisticated bunch.

For a spring style statement, sage is fast becoming one of the hottest colours for kitchens; opt for the same shade for both cabinetry and walls for a seamless transition which makes the most of the hue.
