CELEBRITY antiques expert David Dickinson will be filming at The Lichfield Auction Centre next week – and people are invited to go along and watch the sale.
‘The Duke’ will be at Richard Winterton Auctioneers on Tuesday, November 15, as items consigned from two ‘Dealer Days’ in Market Bosworth and at Walsall Football Club go under the hammer at Fradley Park.
Cameras will be rolling for the 18th series of ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal, which sees people take in their collectables for valuation and then decide whether to take a dealer’s cash offer or put the item up for auction.
“It is wonderful to be welcoming David and his team back to Lichfield,” said auctioneer Richard Winterton, who will be yielding the gavel on the day.
“We had two huge Dealer Days recently at Market Bosworth and the Bescot Stadium which uncovered some very interesting items.
“We’re all looking forward to creating some more memorable saleroom scenes so do come on down and join us.”
Filming takes place during Day Two of the family firm’s Antiques & Home Sale on November 15, starting at 9.30am.
Members of the public are welcome to go along – booking is not necessary, people may just turn up from 9am before the sale starts.
