While we may be dreaming of faraway shores, the reality is that many of us will be holidaying much closer to home this summer. Visit Lichfield is encouraging people to consider the cathedral city as their next vacation destination.

Visit Lichfield has launched a short breaks brochure to help anyone looking for holiday ideas in the UK to discover what is on offer in Lichfield District.

The Visit Lichfield short breaks brochure showcases the many exciting and interesting attractions to visit as well as the leisure, culture, shopping and hospitality to be found across the district, ideal for holiday makers to ‘escape the everyday’ on a perfect weekend or mid-week getaway.

Craig Jordan, head of economic growth and development at Lichfield District Council, said: “There is so much to explore in Lichfield and the district, making it a fantastic destination for a short break.
